One For the World: Effective Giving to Address Extreme Poverty
One for the World's (OFTW) mission is to scale the effective giving movement that addresses extreme poverty. Giving to charity is great, not just for the recipients but for the givers, too! However, it can be intimidating to know where to give to have the greatest impact, especially when there are thousands of worthy causes to choose from. We all want to help improve the world, but it can be difficult to know how.
Join Frank Fredericks, Executive Director of One for the World, to learn about the latest in cost-effective charitable giving and OFTW will give £10 to any charity of your choice! After the meeting, an additional £10 donation to one of OFTW’s recommended charities is encouraged but not required.
Frank Fredericks joined One for the World in June 2024, after his role at Accenture, where he was Senior Entrepreneur and served as Lead for the Social Innovators Accelerator. Previously, Frank founded World Faith, a global nonprofit working to end religious violence, and Mean Communications, a digital agency for social good. Frank has written for the Huffington Post, Washington Post, and Sojourners. Frank is a graduate of NYU and received his MBA from the Saïd Business School at Oxford University as a Global Shaper Scholar. Frank lives in Queens, New York City.
