About Event

Who is this for?

AI Researchers, Founders and Investors

India AI can truly progress only if we build for the world. US, China are making heavy investments in AI and moving at breakneck pace. We need to act and we need to do it now.

What will it take?

Joining us in the session are:

1) Dr. Arjun Jain, who worked with Yann Lecun, Chris Bregler, Nitish Srivastava, and is one of the OGs of the AI world. Arjun will help us understand his journey and some exciting ideas in AI that he is working on. Having guided many PhD students and researchers, Arjun will help us with a playbook on how to think about AI fundamentally.

2) Paras Chopra, who bootstrapped Wingify and successfully exited and is now running Lossfunk, a privately funded boutique AI research studio focused on cutting-edge research. Paras will help us understand how Lossfunk works and what are some interesting problem statements his team is working on.

3) Pratyush Choudhury, who has successfully invested in multiple early-stage deep tech startups and has himself been a technologist, will help us understand what it takes to get capital for ambitious projects and what India needs to set up a Silicon Valley-type eco-system where capital and research flow hand in hand.

Finally, we will have an open session on a few problem statements that we had shortlisted, which today’s LLMs can’t do:

I) Multi-Modal AI - What are the challenges?
II) Emotional Intelligence
III) Physical AI
IV) Reward modelling for the real world
V) Infinite Context + Memory
