[ This event was originally an outdoor picnic but the rains gods won't have it as it's expected to pour again this Saturday. But don't fret, we're taking you indoors to the eclectic book bar, Willows and Wine. YES, a book bar! 🍷📚]
One More Chapter, is an atypical community for the modern reader. For the last event of the year, we'll be celebrating ALL books - the books we've read, the ones still atop our TBR pile, and the ones we're aching to read. ✨
What to expect
The format is similar to all our events but we've thrown in a book swap to honour the season of gift giving.
Bring whatever book you're currently reading for dedicated reading time. All genres welcome 🤗
Bring a new or used book (in good condition) for the book swap to gift to a fellow reader. Make sure it's wrapped up. We're going for the surprise element. 🎁
Reflect on reads of the year and engage in fun literary conversations. 🤩
Agenda
2:00-2:30pm: Welcome and introductions. Time to buy yourself a drink 👋
2:30-3:15pm: Dedicated reading + reflections on your reading year
3:15-4:00pm: Book swap and fun literary conversations
We will be offering cheese, crackers, and snacks but we ask that you buy your drinks.
Our reading events are always informal 🙂, so participate in any manner that you like.

The cute book bar is located at the fringe of Vic market. Just a 5 minute walk from there :)
What to bring?
A book to read and a book to swap. We'll have snacks and drinks but you're welcome to bring anything to share 🙂.
