Speaker - Melissa Mauk, Director of Business Operations @ Hotjar

Hotjar started in 2014 and has grown from a team of 5 to a team of over 300 across 40+ countries. Hotjar’s has managed to scale by creating a culture led by our core values, implementing and iterating on our operational processes, and by helping our team focus on what matters most to the business. Learn which operational processes we focused on as the company grew, which processes held up and which are being reworked for a larger company.

Melissa is the Director of Business Operations at Hotjar. She joined as a Financial Analyst in 2016 when the team was 20 people and there were no financial processes in place. She has helped put in place financial and operational processes as the Hotjar team has grown. Her team is responsible for projects, processes, tools and meet-ups that the whole company uses or where there are multiple stakeholders across the company.
