Guest Speaker - Brandon Sammut, Chief People Officer @Zapier

Zapier is a software automation platform with an 800-member, all-remote team in 40+ countries. They believe that their employees should be rewarded competitively and equitably, using practices that are simple and transparent.

In this interactive workshop Catherine will guide participants in creating their own compensation guiding principles & annual compensation cycle. She will share practical tips on market data and pay position and a template for creating a pay structure at your company.

Catherine Nacson has specialized in Compensation for the past 15 years. She joined Zapier in 2021 to manage and redesign Zapier’s Compensation Philosophy and pay structures, and to implement the company’s first Annual Salary Review.

Brandon Sammut is a two-time Chief People Officer, currently building at Zapier. Brandon believes in the power of distributed work to expand both individual opportunity and business impact. In this work, Brandon draws on prior experience in talent acquisition, talent development, strategy consulting, and venture capital.
