Jessica and Jon acquired Kayvon’s company, Periscope, making this a rare opportunity to hear real talk from top executives who have been on all sides of M&A decisions and integration, together. We’ll take you behind the scenes to share insights on pre-product acquisition, Twitter’s recent sale and everything in between.

Kayvon Beykpour is a serial entrepreneur and product leader. He co-founded Periscope, a live-streaming mobile app, which was acquired by Twitter in 2015. He went on to lead all consumer product as a GM at Twitter. Earlier in his career, he co-founded TerriblyClever, which was acquired by Blackboard, where he went on to become a GM and Senior Executive.
Jessica Verrilli is the co-founder of Adverb Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Previously, Jessica was the 34th employee at Twitter and VP of Corporate Development & Strategy, where she acquired 30+ companies over her 8.5-year tenure. She is the co-founder of #ANGELS and is a personal investor in Gusto, Vanta, Instacart, Coinbase, Anchorage, Color, etc, and was previously a GP at Google Ventures.
Jon Chen is the VP of Product Acceleration at Shopify, where he focuses on acquiring new and innovative products and teams. Before Shopify, Jon spent 9+ years at Twitter, leading Corporate Development and Strategy through the recent Twitter sale.
