The Future of Friendship: Loneliness, Love, and Living in an Age of Robots
What will friendship look like in a world of brain-computer interfaces, digital twins, and robot companions? 🤖
In this part-dystopian, part-hopeful (but all-fun) session, we’ll take a trip into the next decade with Steph Clarke, and use the tools of futures thinking to imagine what the future of friendship might look like.
We’ll ask how the very nature of human connection might evolve in a world of technological companions, imagine some shifting social norms, and wonder about different approaches to increasing loneliness.
What you’ll learn:
How to use Futures Thinking tools and mindsets in your own life and work
Plenty of ‘oh wow’ moments about how some hopeful and strange futures already exist
Some frameworks to think about your own futures, and ideas on how to be better prepared for what’s changing and what’s next
It’s going to get strange…
See you there! 👋
