Mimi Ni Nani
Join us for Mimi Ni Nani (Who Am I?)—a curated art exhibition and fundraiser where art becomes a universal language, bridging cultures and continents.
This special evening brings together original artwork from children in Kilifi, Kenya—supported by The Nyakim Project—and students from the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). Through their collective expressions, the exhibit explores themes of identity, resilience, and possibility.
Together, we can transform creativity into opportunity—and move closer to a world where every child has the chance to learn, thrive, and write their own story.
Agenda Highlights:
6:30 PM: Doors Open — explore the student art exhibit and mingle
7:15 PM: Remarks from Karen Francis, Founder and Executive Director of The Nyakim Project
8:30 PM: Event Close
A special thanks to our sponsors, It's Ok* Studios and The Toronto District School Board.
Tickets are free, but pay what you can. Ticket purchases for this event are not eligible for a charitable tax receipt. Donations received on May 7th will receive a charitable tax receipt. Thank you for your support!
