​Activate and Berkeley Lab invite you to join a select group of your peers at The Engine for an exclusive roundtable discussion during Tough Tech Week.

​The pathway for a tough tech startup from initial discovery to commercial success is complex and challenging. To better support the entrepreneurs on this journey, we are convening leaders from pivotal Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs) across the ecosystem. This invitation-only working session is a dedicated opportunity to build connections, discuss the major challenges and gaps in startup support, and surface ideas for collaborative solutions.

​What to Expect
This interactive session is designed to facilitate broader understanding and closer collaboration across the ecosystem. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to:

• ​Contribute to a comprehensive map of the tough tech ecosystem, identifying what key partners provide and where they fit in a startup’s timeline.

• ​Identify and discuss the most critical gaps, challenges, and opportunities facing early-stage deep tech companies today.

• ​Brainstorm actionable, collaborative solutions to strengthen the support infrastructure for the next generation of innovators.

• ​Network with a curated group of leaders from national and regional incubators, accelerators, fellowship programs, and university entrepreneurship centers.
