Africa Sustainability Week 2024
The Africa Sustainability Week (ASW) 2024 is a transformative platform that seeks to harness the collective energy, creativity, and leadership of African youth and students in higher education. Scheduled to take place from November 4 to 6, 2024, in the West Africa Region (Nigeria), the event will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and virtual participation. ASW 2024 is designed to address the continent's pressing sustainability challenges and to co-create innovative solutions that are tailored to Africa's unique context.
The event will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including students, academics, researchers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and civil society organizations. By fostering dialogue, collaboration, and action, ASW 2024 aims to catalyze sustainable development across Africa. The week-long event is organized around three core pillars: Economic Sustainability, Environmental Sustainability, and Social Sustainability. Each pillar will feature a series of seminars, workshops, panel discussions, digital exhibitions, and networking sessions focused on key issues and opportunities within specific thematic areas.
