Fuzz to Felt: Creatures
In this edition of Fuzz to Felt, we’re imagining creatures and creating them through the magic of needle felting!
Learn how wool turns to felt, what wool looks like during each part of its life-cycle, and what we can do with it by needle felting. We’ll look at what artists around the world are doing with felt using different felting techniques. From there we’ll collaboratively design creatures to create an image bank of curious character elements. We’ll then dive right into a demo on how to needle felt, build volume, and attach felted pieces together to create layers, texture, and personality. We’ll walk you through the process and answer questions as everyone’s project will be unique and you’ll leave with a needle felted animal, alien, being, or creature straight from your imagination .

IMPORTANT NOTES: All tickets are final sale. We are a shoes-off, socks-required space; please bring your own socks or we have some for purchase for $1. Our events are geared towards connection through creativity; for many, you will be sitting around shared tables. Unfortunately, during ticketed events, we are unable to accommodate any children/babies under 5 years of age. Dogs are also not permitted at events. Upon entering our space you are consenting to photography/videography that may be used for promotional purposes.
