As the next election approaches it's time to start planning!
To unlock some of the amazing innovative campaign opportunities ahead of the election, we need to make sure some basic infrastructure is in place. Join us for a day of creating, restructuring and gathering the resources, data and tools progressive campaigns will need to beat the Tories.
This hack day will be a spaces for experts, enthusiasts, and campaigners to come together to brainstorm on what’s needed to outmaneuver the Tories in the upcoming election.
Whether you're a technologist interested in politics or a seasoned campaigner, this event offers a unique opportunity to take part in planning for the next election.
We'll be exploring:
Scraping: what platforms are ripe for this? Do we have reliable ways to do this for each platform?
Whatsapp functionality: how can we use frameworks like matrix to build useful tools for organisers?
Data: what electoral data is crucial as we approach the election, and how do we format it for easy access and use?
AI: what is now possible? Do we have some basic frameworks and approaches we can use to build new tools for campaigners?
