Haitian Tea Party: A Talk on Dating, Worth & Healing
Haitian culture is rich, healing, and full of soul—and there's no better place to explore it than right here in New York City, home to over 300,000 people of Haitian descent. Whether you're reconnecting with your roots, curious to learn more about Haitian traditions, or looking to meet new people in a meaningful way, this is the space for you.
Join us at the Haitian Creole Language Institute of New York in conjunction with Mindset & Dating Coach Jennifer Gornik for our first in-person Haitian Tea Party in over two years! Together, we’ll explore four traditional Haitian teas, each shared with their unique healing properties and cultural significance. As the tea flows, Jennifer will gently guide us through honest, affirming conversations on love, emotional intimacy, and dating with intention—creating a space that invites connection, vulnerability, and growth.
You will sip on tea, enjoy freshly baked Haitian bread & desserts and other traditional Haitian snacks like patties and cake, and leave with a curated gift bag filled with tea samples and small surprises to continue your journey at home. Whether you come solo or with a friend, you’ll leave feeling nourished—body, heart, and spirit. The Haitian Tea Party is open to everyone!
