We decided recently based on founder requests and our goal to connect our amazing founders together to launch Quarterly "State of Deep Tech" community calls for Boosties.

Next week we kick off with our first call - Q3 '21 State of Deep Tech with guest speaker: Sana Fathima, Investment Manager at Lockheed Martin Ventures

Sana Fathima joined Lockheed Martin Ventures in 2019 as an Investment Manager. Her primary investment areas include Advanced Modelling & Simulation, Autonomous Systems & Robotics, Advanced Manufacturing, and Next-Gen Materials. She also leads the fund’s portfolio monitoring and fund management efforts.

Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Sana was a senior Financial Sector Specialist at the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation, where she supported the development of a multi-billion-dollar green infrastructure and technology fund. Before the World Bank, Sana was an MBA Associate at Atomico, one of Europe’s largest technology VC funds, supporting the fund’s investments in frontier technology companies. Sana began her career at Goldman Sachs as a quantitative analyst supporting the securities division.

Sana received her M.B.A. from the University of Cambridge. Sana pursued her PhD (ABD) dissertation studies at the University of Oxford in ultrasound image analysis as a Fulbright/Whitaker Scholar, and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The College of New Jersey as a Presidential Scholar in the Seven-Year B.S. / M.D. Accelerated Program.
