How to Transform your Knits into a Knitwear Business [YKWU Virtual]
In the first YKWU virtual, we will get insight on how to transform your knits into a knitwear business with Moyang, founder of MOYA London.
ABOUT THE SERIES
The YKWU Virtual series goes beyond our monthly knitting clubs to share knowledge on all things knitwear. Each month, on the Monday following the Sunday YKWU sessions, we will invite a special guest to lead a virtual class. On Monday 26th Feb at 7pm we are inviting the founder of MOYA London, a London based luxury handbag company that produces made to order crochet bags.
ABOUT THE SESSION
Moyang founded her brand during the lockdown, and achieved 5 figure sales on day 1 via pre-orders. Moyang has since launched two sold out collections and will share her methods on creating demand for her bags before investing in the brand (website, logo etc). Often new businesses spend on their aesthetic before validating the market and building a customer base. In this masterclass, Moyang will share her story and tips on
selling first
driving demand from clients and fans
managing production
knowing when ready to invest in expensive marketing and branding (logos, website etc)
