​About The Hosts 👋

​YSpace is York University’s pan-university entrepreneurship and innovation hub supporting startups and entrepreneurs from a variety of sectors and communities. Our programming spans across scaling innovative technologies through customer and investor capital to scaling agri-food businesses into mass retail to diversity focused initiatives like ELLA for women-led businesses and BEA for Black-led businesses.

​The Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking emerged in 2017 as UCalgary's innovation hub, thanks to the transformative support of the Hunter Family Foundation. Their vision extends beyond UCalgary, aiming to cultivate entrepreneurial spirit and bring positive change to Canadians and the national economy. They strive to embed entrepreneurial thinking in leaders and organizations, fostering ingenuity and enabling innovation.
