The results of these efforts can be seen here in Canada every day and were highlighted in Sam Cooper's book and also in Hidden Hand, published by Optimum last year. Elite Capture is the cooptation of political, academic and corporate elites. These influence operations can be traced to the highest office in the land.
Why did Vancouver become the destination of choice and the HQ for United Front Works operations in Canada with a clear mission to wage war against Canada and the United States?
This beachhead has allowed some influential segments of the China diaspora community allied to the interests of the motherland (some by coercion but many motivated by financial self-interest) to work the think tanks, academic institutions, corporate board rooms, and the municipal, provincial, and national governments to ensure that this infiltration became seamless and with no opposition.
Those that called out these strategies by the UFW were quickly discredited and or portrayed as racists, out of touch, or anti-Asian. However, in recent years many Hong Kong citizens, dissidents and Chinese diaspora from the mainland have fought back directly to dispel these lies. Still, the Beijing lobby is powerful here in Canada.
Naturally, the first attacks on Wilful Blindness came from the United Front proxies, including the Trudeau-appointed independent Senator, Yuen Pao Woo.

Sam Cooper, who has received increased attention from the Chinese state in relation to his groundbreaking findings in Wilful Blindness, has also monitored an apparently related pattern of media condemnation and threats from United Front Work Department associated actors in Canada. At the same time, Cooper has found new documented cases of the connectivity between Chinese infiltration networks in Canada and crime networks involved in Triad activity, underground banking, and violence against democracy protestors in Hong Kong. Cooper will provide participants with a deeper perspective on his investigations, the impact on the Cullen Commission and what has happened since we published the book in late May.
Calvin Chrustie, has had a unique and evolutionary career in law enforcement. He is a Federal Serious and Organized Crime Projects Superintendent, and specializes in crisis/hostage negotiations along with risk and security management. He has been engaged with and negotiated with some of the world's most dangerous terrorists and criminals. He led the RCMP in British Columbia on major crime for several years and, with his team exposed the money laundering crisis in BC to RCMP management, CSIS and five eyes partners. More importantly, he made it clear that the West Coast was a hub for TNOC and that the RCMP was woefully underfunded and resourced to combat this growing threat to the safety of everyday citizens and national security as a whole. He took these insights back to Ottawa and was engaged with and informed Canada's biggest spy, Cameron Ortis and others, that you need to pay attention. With Ortis now held in custody for treason, it became clear why nothing was happening in British Columbia.
Dr. Anders Corr, will discuss some of China's international and regional ambitions on its journey to becoming the de facto global hegemonic power. Anders is an academic, writer, entrepreneur, and publisher. Anders has studied the rise of China and the CCP for decades. As a columnist for Forbes, he criticized a billionaire with close allegiance to Beijing and became the target of the UFW. He was removed as a columnist to appease Beijing. With deep global insights, he will provide viewers with a unique global perspective that will engage the audience on a journey to the probable rather than the possible related to the CCP's global hegemonic ambitions.
