Event Outline
Pre Plunge Activity:
Social Run: Kick off your morning with a scenic 5k run starting at Boothuis. Bag drop begins at 9:15 AM, followed by a warmup at 9:30 AM. Enjoy a conversational pace of 6:30 per kilometre as you take in the beautiful surroundings of the lake.
Yoga Flow: Start with a ground-breathing exercise to help you centre and connect with the present moment. Next, you'll flow through gentle yoga movements to stretch and strengthen the body, adding some playful challenges. Finally, you'll end with calming meditation, allowing the mind to soothe and set the tone for the day ahead.
Breathwork session: Join Kyra for some invigorating breath work before cold exposure! It’s an opportunity for you to connect with your body, awaken your cells, and support your nervous system before you jump into the ice. With a little bit of meditation and movement mixed in with the breath, you’re sure to feel alive and who knows what else you might unlock for yourself as you explore the practice. Breathwork can be very transformative and is a journey home to yourself.
Ice Bath Experience
An exhilarating XL ice bath experience. Dive into the cold, accompanied by music and good vibes, perfect for connecting and bonding with our community members. Savour the moment with amazing coffee and delicious food available for purchase from the Boothuis bar.
