Join us for a special screening of WASKA, The Forest Is My Family with an introduction from the team behind the film. The short documentary explores how commodification and extractivism in the Amazon Rainforest extends to the plant medicine hayakwaska. Led by the granddaughter of a Yachak (shaman) she reveals the essence of what it means to live as part of the forest.
