Valentine's Day is coming up and what could be more romantic than spending the night doing something unique and creative ? Pottery making is the perfect activity for a Valentine's date night. Not only is it intimate and romantic, but it also allows you to connect on a deeper level as you create something together with your favourite human.
Join us at clay & Cupid and learn the art of pottery making while creating one-of-a-kind pieces with your special someone.
This is a BYO event so please feel free to bring along your favourite bevvy to enjoy in one of the cool ceramic vessels we have for you to choose from.
Pottery making is the perfect activity for a Valentine's Day date night. Not only is it intimate and romantic, but it also allows couples to connect on a deeper level as they create something together.
Pricing is per person for this 3 hour class, you and your partner will be introduced to traditional pottery techniques as you create several handbuilt pieces using a variety of handbuilding methods. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process and help you create amazing pottery creations.
After that, you will head over to the wheel where you will receive careful hands-on guidance as you create your first pottery piece on the wheel. This is a great opportunity to experience the thrill of throwing on the wheel and take your pottery skills to the next level.
You will leave the class with not only an understanding of the basics of wheel throwing and hand-building but also with your own unique pottery pieces that you can be proud of.
In addition to learning the art of pottery making, you will also have the opportunity to choose from our studio's range of premium and bespoke glazes and our KMC kiln faries will complete your pieces ready for collection several weeks after your class.
Our glazes are specially formulated to enhance the beauty of your pottery and give them a professional finish.
If you prefer, you can also come back for one of our specialty open glaze sessions to complete the glazing yourself at a special discounted rate. This will give you a chance to personalize your pieces even more, and add your own unique touch to them.

Terms & Conditions:
Flexible payment plans are available, but classes fill up quickly, so please contact Karla Marie to reserve your spot as soon as possible.
Tuition is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other classes or individuals once the term has started.
All materials, including clay, tools, and firing fees, are included in class costs unless otherwise specified.
Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your class, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist you in finding a replacement. While we will make every effort to accommodate you, refunds are not guaranteed.
If you cancel at least 3 weeks before the start of class, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee.
If you cancel 2 weeks before the start of class, you will receive a 50% refund or a full refund if we are able to fill your spot.
No refunds will be given if you cancel within 1 week of the start of class, unless we are able to fill your spot.
Non-attendance
If you are unable to attend a class due to personal reasons, bad weather, or illness, we do not offer refunds and cannot guarantee make-up classes. However, we may offer limited opportunities for make-up classes at a cost of $60 per session to help you catch up on what you missed.
Karla Marie Ceramics Limited reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrolment and in this case, a full refund will be issued.
Karla Marie Ceramics Limited also reserves the right to change the instructor for a class at any time, but we will make every effort to inform students ahead of time.
