This is a class for product managers, newer UX practitioners, and other business-minded product stakeholders who want to improve their UX research skills.

Choosing the appropriate method(s) for your goals
Writing participant recruitment screeners
How to best work with participant recruiters
Writing rigorous interview questions and usability tasks
Taking meaningful qualitative notes
Interview moderation best practices
Qualitative data analysis methodology
How to effectively share research results
For an additional $200, after the class, Dan will review and provide critique on:
A study interview guide
A ten-minute clip of your study moderation
After you've reviewed the critique, Dan will hop on a call to go over it with you.
Class overview:
Morning session - Preparing for your study
10am-12pm; includes a 15-min break
Afternoon session - Conducting and analyzing your study
1pm-4pm; includes three 15-min breaks
Dan will stick around after the class for additional Q&A

About Dan Berlin:
This workshop is offered by Dan Berlin, Founder and Principal of Watch City Research, a UX Research consultancy based outside of Boston, MA. Dan has 15+ years of consulting experience and has conducted research in cars, rail yards, hospitals, and many other locales. He has taught in the Bentley University UX Certificate program, holds an MBA+MS in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University, and a BA in Psychology from Brandeis University. This Fall he'll head back to Bentley University to start earning a PhD in Business with a focus on Experience Design.
