​StartUP FIU introduces UPstarter Innovation Series! 

​UPstarter Innovation Series teaches students the tools and skills about the essentials of innovation in 4 different sessions during the Spring semester. Each session is offered independently to attract a multi-disciplinary group of students. Students learn different frameworks and tactics that help them think more critically and creative.

​Session #1: How to Think Like an Innovator

​Facilitator: Bob Hacker

​Description: 

​There’s a word that everyone uses but really few know what it really means and that is: Innovation.

​Learn the six step process to transform an idea into an innovation. Understanding the right approach is incredibly powerful and essential to adapt and thrive in today's fast-changing environment. 

​Join us for this first-ever session of the Rapid Innovation Series to learn the true meaning of innovation and how to take the first steps as a real innovator. Led by StartUP FIU Co-founder and Director, Bob Hacker, this talk covers: 

• ​The fundamental principles of (real) innovation

• ​Tools and techniques to practice innovation at work, at school, and in life

• ​How to embrace the mindset of an innovator in order to act and create like one

​​Who should attend?

​​Open to all FIU students seeking to become more innovative regardless of their major, year, or level of expertise.
