About the workshop: This workshop is for folks seeking to explore polyamory or another form of consensual non-monogamy (CNM) in a thoughtful and intentional way. Like with anything that is undertaught or misunderstood, there is a lot that can fall through the cracks when starting out in the ENM world. In this workshop, we'll talk about types of CNM, kitchen table, and parallel polyamory, boundary and expectation setting, communication techniques and plans, jealousy and conflict resolution techniques, and managing expectations.
The goals of this workshop are:
First, to increase participant awareness about common concerns and issues that arise when transitioning to a new relationship style (communication issues, NRE, couple privilege, fawning, etc.).
Second, to offer tools for preventing conflict arising from these issues and to move forward when it does. Third, to expose audience to resources for their continued education.
This workshop is expected to run between 90 - 120 minutes.

Yael R. Rosenstock Gonzalez, also known as YaeltheSexGeek, is a queer, neurodivergent, polyamorous, and kinky Jewish Puerto Rican New Yorker sexpert. She believes that sexual wellness and sexual liberation involve our WHOLE selves and therefore supports people in finding confidence in who they are, what they seek, and how to take action toward what they want through her work as a Sex, Relationships, Intimacy, and Identity Coach, Educator, and Researcher. She is the founder of Kaleidoscope Vibrations, LLC and Sex Positive You, the author of An Introguide to a Sex Positive You, a 2023 Kinsey Institute Scholar of Sexology, and a certified Conscious Erotic Touch Practioner.

Tickets are available on a sliding scale ($15-$50) to ensure folx of varying economic backgrounds are able to access the sex education they deserve. We ask those who have the financial means to help "spread the wealth" by contributing to the community pool so that we can offer a limited number of sponsored free tickets to those who need it.
We kindly ask that those who have the financial means to purchase a ticket do so, and save our sponsored free tickets to those who do not.

Unless otherwise specified, all workshops are recorded and access to the recording is made available for 7 days following the workshop to everyone who registered prior to the workshop start time. We do not offer refunds to those who were unable to attend or watch the recording within the allotted time.
In the event SHIP and/or the Educator(s) need to change the date of the workshop, we will automatically transfer your registration once the workshop has been rescheduled. If the workshop is cancelled outright, we will contact you with the option to have your registration fee refunded, transferred to another workshop, or treated as a tax-deductible donation.
