On the Threshold of the New Tomorrow: Lessons from 5 years in the Covid era (Weekend Retreat)
Dates: January 24–26, 2025
Facilitator: Holly Baldwin, Spiritual Companion
Location: Beacon Hill Friends House
Step into the in-between.
We are living in a liminal space — a threshold between the world as it was before the pandemic and the "new normal" we are creating together. This retreat falls as we mark 5 years of living with Covid-19. So much has changed in our world since 2020. This retreat offers a sacred pause to reflect on how these years have changed us and our world, and to discern our path forward with intention.
Through contemplative practices and interactive activities, we’ll explore questions like:
What have you been through?
Where are you going?
What will you carry into the new tomorrow?
What will you leave behind?

Why join this retreat?
The past few years have changed us all. This is your chance to process those changes, discover your inner wisdom, and find hope and encouragement for the journey ahead.
Even if it hasn’t always been easy, you’ve grown. Let’s metabolize those lessons and step into the new tomorrow together.
"On The Threshold of the New Tomorrow should be a required experience for everyone! As a mom of school-aged children who was working in healthcare at the time, I wasn’t fully aware of the impact of the rush back to “normal life.” Holly’s workshop gave me the time and security to stop and name where I had been and where I find myself now. Her rhythm and invitations opened spaciousness to reflect on what happened in my life as an individual and our collective experience from the first two years of the pandemic. It was an opportunity for processing and healing I didn’t realize I longed for." — 2022 Participant
“I would absolutely recommend the workshop to others. It creates space to gain clarity on the ongoing impacts of the last 2.5 years in their spiritual, emotional lives.” — Intermountain Yearly Meeting participant, June 2022
