"The Looming" - Sundance Winner w/ Masha Ko & Andrey Nikolaev

​Masha Ko directed Sundance 2024 short The Looming with cinematographer Andrey Nikolaev (multiple awards winner, including Camerimage, ASC Awards, Clio, among many others).
The Looming is a 15-minute horror film about an elderly man named Chester who begins hearing strange noises in his home. When he investigates the cause, he’s in for the biggest surprise of all…

For the film, Masha won the Sundance Award - Short Film Special Jury Prize for Directing.

​A24 will finance and handle worldwide releasing on an adaptation of The Looming.

​Masha and Andrey are going to present the movie and answer our questions about the film and their careers.
