About Event

Hello FinTech enthusiasts! This week as a part of the Startup Showcase, we present to you- Salt. It is a one stop for all your financial needs, ranging from savings and investing to expenditure and subscriptions.

Salt is developing an application “Passbook”- a NLP-based money journal to help you track expenses, save and invest better, set reminders and get rewarded (in gold) for building good money habits.

The founder’s story-

🚀 Shinjini Kumar is an experienced banker, consultant and a business strategist; and has worked with Paytm, The Times of India, Reserve Bank of India, BAML, PwC and Citi. Shrinjini recognises the need for financial independence for women and aims to change the way women buy financial products!

🚀 Chaitra Chidanand, an Ex- Stanford who chose to build Simpl and Salt instead of joining the Silicon Valley buzz, to bring about a valuable change in the way India thinks about fintech.

🚀 Aditi Sholapurkar, IIM-A had tons of building experience at Goldman Sachs in its early-stage Fintech investing and at BAML and Citi as well. She helped build a bank from the ground up at Paytm and led corporate development at global fintech Nium. She aims to build the world through money- through Salt.

Event itinerary:

⛏ Introduction of the founder and the startup (15 minutes)

⛏ Product demo by the founder via screen sharing (15 minutes)

⛏ All audience members test the product on their mobile or desktop devices and input their observations, feedback, bugs, quality issues, and any questions they may have - in the zoom call's chat section. (15 minutes)

⛏ An engaging Q&A session where the founder resolves all your queries. (15 minutes)
