Beth Scheer is currently Head of Talent at Homebrew, a seed stage venture capital firm founded by two former colleagues from Google (Hunter Walk and Satya Patel). Her role is to advise founders on executive leadership and human capital. Prior to Homebrew, Beth spent 5+ years at Salesforce leading executive search, sales leadership, and sales growth/professional services recruiting teams. She joined Google in 2003 to build out the AdSense team and then spent 6 years hiring for business operations, corporate communications, corporate development, and various engineering teams, including new graduate PhDs. She graduated from The Colorado College with a BS in Psychology.
Lauren Ispen is the Talent Partner at Decibel where she focuses on helping technical founders find the essential talent that will accelerate their growth from the earliest stages. She has placed over one hundred product and engineering leaders throughout her career and will be focusing on cultivating and growing our network of rising stars for every critical role.
Prior to joining Decibel, Lauren was one of the top performing executive recruiters at Daversa Partners and has worked with several dozen high growth startups in Silicon Valley including Airbnb, Canva, Discord, Snap, and Twitter. She most recently was a talent partner at General Catalyst where she focused on scaling their talent practice for seed stage companies.
Lauren grew up in an entrepreneurial family here in the Bay Area and was recruited to play golf in college. Her career began in broadcast journalism, where she discovered her passion for interviewing pioneers from diverse walks of life.

Cecilia Ng has spent a bulk of her tech career with companies like Facebook and Robinhood, however prior to this spent time abroad working in talent with companies like Moody's, Whirlpool and Robert Half. She is currently a Talent Partner with MVP Ventures, a firm specializing in co-investing with focus on early stage (Seed - A) and deep tech (AI, Hardware, Robotics). She partners primarily with Founders on their founding team hiring, collaborating on building hiring strategies, workflows and nascent infrastructure.
