Stand Up for DEI
IN THIS EVENT we will share with the audience what we are learning every day about how to defend against the misinformation and scare tactics designed to divide us.
Learn to create your own strategies to effectively engage in dialogue with people who have the wrong idea about DEI&B (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging).
Each session follows this three part format:
Topical deep dive
Brandolini’s Corner: Deconstructing the myths
Open discussion and resource sharing
What to expect:
Learn why misinformation is so much easier to spread (and dangerous) than information. Become comfortable talking about it with DEI&B skeptics
Make a shift from debating the topic and feeling outraged to becoming a persuader, ready and willing to help folks overcome their shame and fear.
Who is this for?
“Internal” DEI&B professionals who administer or oversee DEI&B training
Senior leaders who struggle to effectively address programmatic concerns with skeptical or hostile employees/audiences
We can’t learn from the mistakes of the past if we can’t talk about them. It's time to defend the real history of racism in the US.
