About Event

Join us as we welcome Allyssa (she/her) for Talking to your Green-Eyed Monster: Navigating Jealousy in Non-Monogamy on Wednesday, May 10th at 7:30pm EST over Zoom!

This workshop will be recorded and will be made available to everyone who registers for 7 days following the workshop.

About the workshop: If you’ve already tested the waters of non-monogamy and had some trouble battling your own green-eyed monster, or if your fear of jealousy has prevented you from jumping into the polyam pool, then this class is for you! Join Sex Educator Allyssa to learn about jealousy management and communication techniques for people in open relationships (and monogamous ones too!). We'll talk about how communication can keep the green-eyed monster at bay and what to do if you feel it rising.

By the end of this workshop you will:

  • Learn to identify and understand how moments of jealousy show up for you and/or for your partners

  • Gain skills to communicate your needs to a partner

  • Practice applying those skills to a moment you have dealt with in the past.

This workshop is expected to run between 90 and 120 minutes.

Accessibility Info:

Closed captions will be provided through Zoom.

About Allyssa:

Allyssa (she/her) is most comfortable teaching a room (or Zoom) full of strangers all the things she was told not to talk about when she was young! With 10+ years of experience educating and training, Allyssa informs her approach through the lens of her queer, polyamorous, and kink identities, while also centralizing critical race theory, pleasure justice, spirituality, and SCIENCE! When not teaching, you will probably find her hiking with her dog Nacho or listening to nerdy podcasts!
