Porn Positivity: Developing a Healing, Sex Worker-Supportive, and Joyful Relationship to Porn with Casper Reynolds
Join us as we welcome Casper Reynolds (they/them) for Porn Positivity: Developing a Healing, Sex Worker-Supportive, and Joyful Relationship to Porn on Wednesday, November 9th at 8 pm EST over Zoom!
This workshop will be recorded and will be made available to everyone who registers for 7 days following the workshop.
Growing up in a sex-negative culture, watching porn is often something done secretively and privately. Porn can feel erotic but also taboo, shameful, and exploitative. During this workshop, we will explore our internalized shame messages around watching porn and develop techniques for recognizing and healing those shame messages. We will dive into ways that watching porn can be healing, joyful, and fun. We will also explore our own curiosities about porn and discuss ways to consume porn in a way that is ethical and supportive of sex workers and porn stars. Finally, we brainstorm ways to prioritize masturbation, erotica reading, and porn watching during our busy day-to-day lives.
By the end of the workshop you will:
be able to identify and talk back to your shame messages around porn;
brainstorm the ways porn can be a healing and joyful component of your life; and
gain tools to consume and watch porn in an ethical, loving, and joyful manner.
This workshop is expected to run between 60 and 90 minutes.

Closed captions will be provided through Zoom.
