Official SF Climate Week Energy Summit - Presented by Climatebase
The SFCW Energy Summit, sponsored by PG&E, Advanced Energy United, Carbon Direct, and Asuene brings together energy leaders, innovators, and policymakers to explore the cutting edge of energy systems transformation.
This single-day summit will bring together industry leaders for a series of in-depth panels and discussions, highlighting advancements in virtual power plants (VPPs), clean energy policy, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) solutions. Chair David Hochschild will deliver closing remarks for the formal program, followed by networking accompanied by sustainable wine, hors d'oeuvres, and superb conversation.
SFCW Energy Summit Programming:
Panel 1: Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) – Rethinking Energy Scalability This panel will explore how VPPs are helping manage California’s rapid load growth while providing meaningful affordability benefits to customers through reduced peak demand and enhanced energy efficiency. Experts will share real-world success stories from California-based VPPs, highlight ongoing challenges, and identify key policy and regulatory barriers that must be addressed to scale demand flexibility.
