Sport is one of the best-known ways of creating strong relationships with others. As Christopher McDougall once said, "Make friends with pain, and you will never be alone." Or in today's language: "sharing an outdoor workout is a great way to make new friends."
And that's exactly what we're going to do!
Join me and my fellow co-founder Maxime on a run every Thursday at 7pm
Maxime is a former ultra-marathonist and will guide us for a relaxed but always fun run across Tejo river.
Don't worry, we won't be training for the Ultra-Marathon but for the ones interested OneThousanClub will participate on the 8th October (Half) Marathon in Lisbon and you can train with us for shorter or longer distances.
The training will last around 60/90 min, and will be adapted to everyone.
Starting/End point will be Clube de Padel in Alcantara where we play padel
Circuits of 2,5kms up to a maximum of 15km depending on members requirements
Exercise will have variations to suit everyone's level
WHO IS IT FOR?
Everyone is welcome, whatever your level. We'll always try to create level groups.The more the merrier.
We'll all be there to sweat and , but above all we'll be there to have fun and make new connections.
We'll be asking everyone to bring their favorite "post-workout" snack to share with the group, and OneThousandClub will take care of the refreshments.
