RICH + RIOT Community Happy Hour 🍹

​Hey RICH + RIOT Community,

​Join us on Friday, April 23 at 5 pm PST for our very first RICH + RIOT happy hour.  This is just the beginning of a series of fun and engaging virtual and in-person community building and networking events, like business and strategy-focused office hours, work sessions, and happy hours, that we're creating for 2021 and beyond.

​Our first session will be hosted by our favorite culture curator and R + R newsletter Line Editor Khiaecia Key. Khiaecia pronounced Ky-ee-sha or just Khi/Ky for short) is a Creative Consultant and Experience Designer who describes herself as a living, breathing "Swiss Army knife" for creative projects. Her broad range of experience includes interior and environment design, photo styling, event planning and production, product development, and creative business strategy.

​This month's conversation will be centered around designing a personal future in a post-quarantine world. We're going to talk about THE GOOD (um..Bridgerton, yassssss), THE BAD (Summer 2020 was rough y'all), and THE UGLY (who else gave up on wearing "hard pants" aka jeans, for the better part of the past year?) We're also going to discuss dusting off plans and dreams that may have been put on hold and navigate accomplishing success in our personal and business lives in a very new world. 

​We know everyone might be suffering from a bit of Zoom fatigue, so to spice things up, we've come up with a couple of ideas to make things feel a bit more like a real PARTAY:

​1. Download this swanky background and add it to your Zoom account to create more of a loungey cocktail hour vibe. *Need help uploading a Zoom background?

​2. Remember - It's a HAPPY hour! So be sure to pop a bottle or pour up your favorite dranky drank! True to the Rich + Riot brand, Kam and Khi will be sipping these PURPLE MARGARITAS because this month's theme is...margaritas. Extra points if you come with a marg in hand (and yes, mocktails count too!)

​3. Be ready to share and mingle! We want to hear from and about you, and we really want folks to mingle, so we'll be doing a few breakout room moments so that people can network and meet each other in smaller groups!
