About Event

A common question everyone building Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems is asking is “what if my documents have tables, graphs, and diagrams?”

Is there an easy button for this? While the answer is still, in general, no (although, of course, you can data engineer your own solutions!), tools are coming onto the generative AI scene now that make dealing with tabular data baked into PDFs easier than ever!

LlamaIndex has integrated the capabilities developed by Unstructured.io to help get your data RAG-ready faster than ever.

In this event, we’ll investigate the limits of this tool with an end-to-end example using a complex PDF that contains both words and tables. This joint approach will combine tabular and semantic parsing to allow for quantitative-qualitative question-answering capabilities.

Join us to discover if the product does what it says “on the tin!” As always, code demos and slides will be shared!

Who should attend the event?

  • AI engineers or business leaders who want to understand how to do QA on complex PDFs

  • LLM practitioners looking to build tabular and semantic data into their RAG pipelines.

  • Anyone trying to build “ChatGPT” for their service manual or other complex document
