FROM CHAOS TO CALM: NAVIGATING UNCERTAINTY
In times of change, it’s easy to feel like control is slipping away, especially when the change is beyond your control. This session provides a powerful reframing—shifting from merely accepting change to actively building resilience. Through interactive discussions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the change process and their natural reactions to it. By recognizing these patterns, they’ll begin to transform change from something that happens to them into something they can manage, reinforcing their ability to adapt, lead, and thrive.
WHY ATTEND
Understand the stages of change and common responses to transitions.
Identify personal reactions to change and explore resilience-building strategies.
MEET OUR FACILITATOR
HELOISA VILA, MPP, ACC, CPTD
Founder, The WeLab
Heloisa Vila is a proud Latina immigrant, a change-making powerhouse, and a neuroscience nerd on a mission to make transformation actually stick. As a people and culture strategist and coach, she has dedicated over 17 years to helping more than 3,000 leaders across 80+ organizations—from NASA to nonprofits—turn big ideas into lasting impact.
Her secret weapon? Neuroscience. She understands how the brain learns, unlearns, and reacts to change (yes, even when it resists kicking and screaming). Whether designing leadership programs for the Obama administration, advising the NIH, or reshaping organizational culture, Heloisa brings a mix of science, strategy, and straight talk that gets results.
Armed with a Master’s in Public Policy and a stack of certifications in change management, executive coaching, and learning design, she’s delivered keynotes on everything from the Neuroscience of Learning to Change Management. When she’s not decoding human behavior, she’s probably explaining how Spanish and Portuguese are kind of the same...but definitely not.
