About Event

Join us as we welcome Toni Crocilla (she/her) for The Psychodynamics of Kink on Wednesday, November 29th @ 7pm EST over Zoom!

This workshop will be recorded and will be made available to everyone who registers for 7 days following the workshop.

About the workshop: In the Psychodynamics of Kink, we’ll explore how elements of the ego, attachment, and subconscious underly our kinky interests and experiences in order to gain a deeper understanding of our needs and drives and how we relate to these through kinky sexuality. This framework will be used guide a discussion on how kinky interests develop within us, how we understand their meaning to us, how we engage with them, and how we communicate them to our partners. Prompts to explore the underlying meaning of your own kinks will assist in conversation and self-reflection.

The goals and/or objectives of this workshop are:

to increase self-understanding and exploration of our internal and external sexual experiences for personal and relational discovery.

1. Increase internal awareness of our own sexual development.
2. Increase connection to one's own sexuality.
3. Increase improved communication about sexual preferences and needs with partners for greater connection and exploration.

This workshop is expected to run between 60 - 90 minutes.

About Toni Crocilla:

Toni is a licensed psychologist with a focus on sexuality and intimate relationships. She works across a wide range of sexual topics, including recoverying from experiences of sexual trauma, recoverying from perpetrating sexual trauma, deviant sexuality/paraphilias, and working with polyamorous individuals, couples, and families.

To Register:

Tickets are available on a sliding scale ($3-$50) to ensure folx of varying economic backgrounds are able to access the sex education they deserve. We ask those who have the financial means to help "spread the wealth" by contributing to the community pool so that we can offer a limited number of sponsored free tickets to those who need it.

​​We kindly ask that those who have the financial means to purchase a ticket do so, and save our sponsored free tickets to those who do not. ​​

Refund + Cancellation Policy:

  • Unless otherwise specified, all workshops are recorded and access to the recording is made available for 7 days following the workshop to everyone who registered prior to the workshop start time. We do not offer refunds to those who were unable to attend or watch the recording within the allotted time.

  • In the event SHIP and/or the Educator(s) need to change the date of the workshop, we will automatically transfer your registration once the workshop has been rescheduled. If the workshop is cancelled outright, we will contact you with the option to have your registration fee refunded, transferred to another workshop, or treated as a tax-deductible donation.
