The Anatomy of Pleasure
Join us as we welcome Aubri Lancaster (Bri/she) for "The Anatomy of Pleasure" on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 7:00 - 9:00PM EST via zoom.
A recording will be made available to everyone who registers for 14 days following the workshop.
About the workshop: While sex education in school usually focuses on reproductive function of the genitals, little attention is given to pleasure. This workshop explores the anatomy of the genitals and the whole body in the context of sexual pleasure, making space for Intersex, Trans, Neurodivergent, and Disabled bodies. Moving beyond the five basic senses we will explore a multitude of sensory experiences and an array of non-sexual pleasures.
At the end of this workshop:
attendees will be able to recognize and name at least three homologous genital structures.
attendees will be able to identify at least five additional types of senses beyond the five commonly named senses.
attendees will be able to integrate non-sexual forms of pleasure into their pleasure menu.
This workshop is expected to run between 90 - 120 minutes.

About Aubri Lancaster:
Aubri Lancaster (Bri/she), BA², CSE is an AASECT and ANTE UP! Certified Sexuality Educator. As a Greyromantic Asexual, Aubri has lived experience and a connection to the Asexual and Aromantic communities that provides a unique perspective on the issues facing the changing landscape of sexuality and orientation. When not working, Aubri spends her time with her spouse, her friends, her 7 year old, and her two adorable Chihuahuas.

Tickets are available on a sliding scale ($15-$50) to ensure folx of varying economic backgrounds are able to access the sex education they deserve. We ask those who have the financial means to help "spread the wealth" by contributing to the community pool so that we can offer a limited number of sponsored free tickets to those who need it.
We kindly ask that those who have the financial means to purchase a ticket do so, and save our sponsored free tickets to those who do not.

Refund + Cancellation Policy:
Unless otherwise specified, all workshops are recorded and access to the recording is made available for 7 days following the workshop to everyone who registered prior to the workshop start time. We do not offer refunds to those who were unable to attend or watch the recording within the allotted time.
In the event SHIP and/or the Educator(s) need to change the date of the workshop, we will automatically transfer your registration once the workshop has been rescheduled. If the workshop is cancelled outright, we will contact you with the option to have your registration fee refunded, transferred to another workshop, or treated as a tax-deductible donation.
