​FactoryDAO Presents: Off/Grid

​An exciting interactive hackathon and collaborative event designed to explore the limits of autonomy in DAOs. OFF/GRID is the perfect opportunity to fast track your DAO knowledge, imagine the world where DAOs have won, share your DAO designs and ideas and hang out with the coolest people.

​Attendees will get a crash course in DAO design and will be supported in imagining your dream DAO idea and submitting it into our quadratic voting based curation system that will be used during the @ETHPrague hackathon.

​We will spend time thinking about the path to autonomy and consider the current threat models in “DAOs under attack”, where will explore attaining autonomy through decentralisation and capture resistance.

​Then we will consider a world where we have truly autonomous DAOs. What DAOs do we need in the ecosystem to facilitate a true exit from the state? What does a true token economy look like? How do we decentralise absolutely everything?

​We explore the possibility of launching a DAO there and then at the event. What are the ethical, moral and legal implications of a DAO launch? Can a group of people at an event vote to launch a DAO? Are truly pseudo-anonymous DAO launches possible?

​The day takes place in one of Prague’s coolest venues and we’ll end the day with a rave till the early hours.
