Heike Hiss is a seasoned executive search leader with a holistic approach and over 25 years of identifying, engaging with and hiring top-tier talent within the technology industry. She spent 15 years with two premier global search firms in Germany and the US and has over 12 years in-house experience with brands like Apple, Juniper and Box, both as an individual contributor and a people leader. As a strategic partner to hiring managers and the C-Suite, Heike specializes in understanding the unique needs of the business and navigating the competitive landscape to identify and secure top executive talent. Heike is deeply passionate about the candidate experience, fostering company culture, and promoting inclusive talent engagement. She loves growing and nurturing teams and is actively involved with mentorship at Box and the broader community.
She lives in the heart of San Francisco with her husband, two teenage children and three cockatiels and when not immersed in the world of executive talent, she finds joy in the simple pleasures of baking, gardening, live music, and stand-up comedy.
Alla Mezhvinsky: Alla is currently the Head of Talent Acquisition at Instacart and has previously held roles in various People functions at Zynga, Square, ClassPass and a few smaller startups. She has a passion for establishing effective recruiting strategies for scaling companies. Raised in San Francisco, Alla attended Lowell High School and University of San Francisco with a major in Business and Hospitality. During her spare time, Alla enjoys being with her family, cooking, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
Shaina Semiatin: Shaina Semiatin is a data-driven and strategic talent acquisition advisor with extensive experience in global scaling, PE- and venture-backed startups ($2.3B+ valuation), exits, and hypergrowth. She adds value for founders and portfolio companies by blending hands-on executive recruiting with advisement on foundational TA strategy, tools, trainings, programs, and processes. She is a builder at heart and loves to help founders create best-in-class TA functions and teams from the very start. She is also passionate about authentic recruiting and building cultures of inclusion, diversity, and belonging through equitable hiring practices. She is personally LGBTQ identified and in her spare time serves on the Executive Board of Lesbians Who Tech and is a Talent Advisor for the People Tech Talent portfolio.
