You are invited to apply to join NEA and Foresight's Data-Driven VC Lightning Talks, an event series for leaders at private funds who are spearheading novel initiatives to integrate data into sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management decisions.
Examples:
You are Head of Data at a venture firm, and you’ve just starting monitoring signals on Twitter to assess if top talent is starting a new company
You’re an Investor and you’ve built a database to track 2,000 top founders enriched by third-party data feeds
You're a Partner at a firm trying to track traction of the newest travel apps in the App Store
Selected guests will be given a time to present their data challenge or initiative in 5 minutes or less in front of a carefully curated audience of leaders in venture capital.
Why are we doing this?
We believe that 2025 will be a huge innovation year for venture capital. The combination of venture evolving into an institutional asset class, the surging volume of available data, and new technologies for turning data into insight means that firms with staying power will become truly data-driven.
“Data-driven” will evolve from a catchphrase in LP marketing to the way every leading firm operates. NEA and Foresight are launching this event series to create a community to share best practices, learn from peers, and help early data adopters to grow knowledge and strengthen initiatives.
