AMA stands for "Ask Me Anything." It's a way for someone with a particular area of expertise or experience to call for questions from their community, and they answer as many questions as possible.

This is a Talentbank's CSR initiative, to be held in conjunction at the inaugural National Career Fair, aimed at helping candidates discover their dream career and learn more on the current trends the industry is looking at.

​[Before You Register as a Mentor]
Due to the limited parking availability at MITEC, we will be prioritising the job seekers’ access to the venue. Therefore in ensuring your accessibility, we are pleased to inform you that we will be arranging shuttle services for all our mentors (and employers) from MATRADE to the venue and back again to the mall. The shuttle service schedule will be updated closer to the date to facilitate your journey to the event.

​To facilitate your arrival, you will be provided with a priority pass, allowing you to board the shuttle van/bus first and ensuring you arrive at the event venue ahead of the candidates.

​However, if this is not an ideal arrangement for now, please take more time to consider this opportunity and to only sign up once you’ve confirmed your commitment.

​[Mentoring]
During the AMA slot, candidates will seek advice from a mentor about their career, life, or sometimes relationship issues. Some of the questions or areas of concern that they might raise are as follows however not limited to:

• ​How do I transition from student life to a professional environment?

• ​What are the current trends and future prospects in my field of study?

• ​How do I handle conflicts or difficult situations at work?

• ​How can I leverage my university network and alumni connections in my job search?

• ​What strategies can help me manage work-life balance when I have significant family commitments?

​Mentors are advised to provide a non-biased opinion based on what would suit best in the current market trends and industry.
