About Event

Join Monday Girl and MindsDB for an exclusive power panel to learn from AI leaders and network with 150+ ambitious professional women on May 15th in San Francisco.

The Agenda:

  • 5:00pm - 6:00pm : Opening Reception + Taco Bar

  • 6:00pm -7:30pm : Women in AI Power Panel

    • A discussion on AI and culture, implementing AI into everyday life, working in AI, how women's voices are represented in tech and more.

  • 7:30pm - 8:30pm : Networking

Meet the Speakers

Gabriela Erickson, AI Principles Ethics Specialist

Gabriela Erickson (she/her) is an AI Principles Ethics Specialist on Google’s Responsible Innovation team, which empowers Googlers to put the AI Principles into practice and support people everywhere to innovate responsibly. She has a passion for social justice, inclusion, and community building. Prior to tech she was a community organizer focused on immigrant rights, where she spent a majority of her early career before pivoting to the field of Trust and Safety.

Jess McCuan, Enterprise Content Lead at Foundation Capital
Jess is a longtime journalist who’s loving her new career as a content strategist for fast-growing tech companies. Recent stints include: Quid, Adyen, Airtable, and MindsDB. Equal parts producer, writer, and strategic thinker, Jess is a content creator who believes in the power of imaginative stories — no matter what the medium. As a journalist, she launched and ran dynamic publications including the Philly urban affairs magazine Next American City, the women's magazine VERVE, and the Asheville arts weekly Scene. She’s held staff positions at the San Francisco Chronicle, Wall Street Journal, and SmartMoney.com, and is a graduate of Columbia University.

Lily Zhang, Head of Engineering at Caper.ai

Lily Zhang is a mom, entrepreneur, and investor. She founded a nonprofit, an angel syndicate, and a bulletproof vest company. She is currently the Head of Engineer@Caper AI, an Instacart subsidiary, and was named one of the Top 25 AI Trailblazers by SpryteLabs in 2023 for building AI products of tomorrow.
