6.30 - Lindsay Hampson - Founder, ThisRock

Topic: Why Being Good is Good for Business 

About Lindsay: People call Lindsay a business-minded tree-hugger. She Founded ThisRock, an ESG and Sustainability consulting firm, in 2022. ThisRock helps businesses get more sustainable in simple and profitable ways. Lindsay is a communications professional turned sustainability advisor with an MBA, an FSA Credential, and a 15-year career in B2B tech with IBM, SAP and Jitterbit. 


6.45 - Bob Willard - Founder and Chief Sustainability Champion, Sustainability Advantage

Topic: How Founders Revamped their Businesses with Sustainability in Mind.

About Bob: Bob is a leading expert on sustainability justifications, frameworks, and sustainable procurement.  Over the last 20 years, he has given more than 1,500 presentations, has authored six books and published two white papers. He provides extensive free, open-source resources for sustainability champions. He is an award-winning Certified B Corp, a Sustainability Excellence Professional, and a Future-Fit Certified Professional. He has a PhD in sustainability from the University of Toronto.

7.00pm Priyam Chawla - Marketing Manager, Jolly SEO

Topic: Theory of Change and Measuring Impact

About Priyam: Priyam Chawla has a master's in Psychology and has worked in marketing for 10 years. During this time, she worked with a company dealing with sustainability and impact measurement for 3+ years, where she was the co-lead of an Indonesian online academy for impact measurement. Currently, along with her full-time job, she runs a passion project where she interviews people working in the field of sustainability for her podcast.

7.15pm Workshop Session: Justifying a Green Business Workshop

We break into 2-3 groups to discuss the topics and any questions that you may have. The presenters will moderate the conversations in a casual, enriching way, with topics and questions ready ahead of time. We look forward to learning from each other and brainstorming on cool climate ideas!

8.15pm - 9pm Networking & Mingle

Everyone is welcome to join the event and help us grow the community in Toronto.
