KQ Social: Discovering Life Sciences in the Knowledge Quarter

​Part of London Life Sciences Week, this KQ Social for the life sciences, brings together our scientists and researchers working to develop new medicines and cure disease, alongside local community leads wanting to better understand this fast growing sector.

​Whether you are working in the lab, pushing the boundaries of innovation in medical science, or helping to create a thriving life sciences sector in the Knowledge Quarter, join us for an informal evening of drinks, discussion and networking.

​Meet sector peers in the KQ area from a growing list of pharmaceutical and biomedical research companies, including AstraZenca, the Francis Crick Institute, MSD, Novo Nordisk, Recursion and Relation Therapeutics.

​For representatives of Camden and Islington's community groups, it's a chance to forge meaningful connections with a rapidly growing sector, and better understand the opportunities for local people.

​Industry Panel Discussion
A headline panel made up of some the biggest names across pharma and healthcare research in the Knowledge Quarter, will discuss just why the area is rapidly becoming a globally significant centre for the life sciences.

​By 2032, 3 million sq. ft. of new lab space will have opened in the KQ. Our panel will look at what’s driving this extraordinary growth, what challenges lie ahead for the sector, and what opportunities there are for people who live and work in the area.
