For all web3 & tech enthusiasts.
What is JAM?
JAM is a novel invention of a universal machine. It evolves Polkadot from hosting only blockchains to a platform "for anything Web3".
Why should you care?
If you care about personal individual agency and believe "less trust more truth" is a principle that we should see in our everyday tech applications. JAM aims to make these web3 principles tangible.
What is the JAM Tour?
From Gray Paper to JAM universal machine.
35 implementer teams are currently building JAM in different programming languages to make it as resilient as it gets. JAM has evolved from specifications written by Dr. Gavin Wood in the Gray Paper to a next-generation machine currently being built.
During the JAM Tour, Dr. Gavin Wood will showcase JAM.
So anyone interested can learn more and decide to build a use case on JAM in the future.
The tour features nine vibrant cities and eight globally renowned universities.
Limited slots per event are available.
Dr. Gavin Wood's Bio
Computers fascinated Gavin Wood since he was a child. This fascination combined with deep technical knowledge and visionary thinking eventually led him to become one of the most impactful figures in the blockchain space. Dr. Gavin Wood co-founded Ethereum and the Polkadot blockchain ecosystems. His contributions furthermore include setting up EthCore (now Parity Technologies) and bringing the Web3 Foundation to life, which has so far supported hundreds of projects with its grants.
