Investor Ready Pitch Practice
Pitching startups to investors is no easy task. Securing capital is a process and while it can be overwhelming, it doesn’t have to be.
Working with a pitch coach helps founders to sharpen their pitch for their funding journey. Sheppard Consulting Group and Creative Spoons are proud to host Investor Ready Pitch Practice to bring founders expert level pitch training, step-by-step through each slide. After, 3-5 volunteers will be selected the day of the event to give their best 3 minute pitch and receive tips directly for your founding team and audience members.
These Pitch Practice Sessions give founders focused time to refine their pitch deck from award winning pitch coach, Amiah Sheppard aka Thee Pitch Coach.
There will be free headshots and refreshments! Also, free parking is available or get on the new Metro K line and get dropped off right in front.
These Pitch Practice Sessions are designed for entrepreneurs (1) preparing to pitch investors for funding and (2) who would like to establish a strong pitching foundation and (3) raise capital from an accredited investor, Venture Capital, accelerator programs, pitch competitions, and/or other funding institutions.
Our Why
According to Crunchbase, only 1.2% of overall venture capital dollars in the U.S. so far has been invested in Black founders and only 100 Black founders have raised this year. We envision a VC ecosystem where all entrepreneurs with venture backable startups have access to the resources and funding necessary to grow sustainably.
