About Event

Entrepreneurship doesn’t have an age limit.

The entrepreneurial mindset teaches children how to think outside of the box, solve problems and understand the world around them.

It’s a valuable life skill that they will carry through with them for the rest of their life, regardless of what path they follow.

So has a parent, how can you help to foster these skills in your children? This is something that Ozan Sonmez hopes to answer.

Ozan is a dad and serial founder with a global focus and passion. He is an experienced angel investor, startup mentor, and accelerator director with +12 years of global experience in investing and building startup programs. He is affiliated with UC Berkeley, Stanford CPD, MIT EF, and other global institutions in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems. He has not only helped tech startup founders but also social and environmental impact founders in programs created by Endeavor, UCASTI, EBRD, Village Capital, Accelerate 2030, KAUST, and Founder Institute.

Ozan has also founded SAGE (Student’s Academy for Global Entrepreneurship), which is an entrepreneurship and innovation skill sets training program designed to engage high school students in the world of entrepreneurship.

In this InspirEd by Galileo event, Ozan will share what he’s learned on his entrepreneurial journey and how to help young people to awaken an Entrepreneurial mindset and perspective.
