ICPC Alumni Meet-Up in Silicon Valley
On behalf of Silkroad Innovation Hub and the Kazakhstan Competitive Programming Federation, we are pleased to invite you to attend an ICPC Alumni Meet-Up in Silicon Valley on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. We will gather at Silkroad Innovation Hub located at 320 High Street in Palo Alto, CA 94301.
For centuries, tradesmen from the Far East traversed the Great Silk Road network transporting - among other things - valuable ideas. Silkroad Innovation Hub takes this legacy forward by creating professional inroads for entrepreneurs, founders, startups, and talented individuals from Central Asia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Mongolia straight into Silicon Valley.
The 2024 ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan. Over 60,000 students from over 100 countries participate in ICPC competitions every year. The best teams from regional competitions covering six continents will come to Kazakhstan to compete in solving the most difficult algorithmic problems.
ICPC World Finals Astana is hosted by the Kazakhstan Competitive Programming Federation. The Kazakhstan Competitive Programming Federation was established with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, together with the representatives of the Digital Nomads Kazakhstan IT community and the country’s leading experts in competitive programming. Our main goal is to popularize and develop competitive programming among the population, as well as to improve the results of our coders in various contests.
ICPC Alumni meetings bring together past contest winners and participants, judges, coaches, volunteers, and industry representatives. We come together to maintain the tradition and community, and to contribute to the continued success of future contests. Special guests at the ICPC Alumni Meet-Up in Silicon Valley include the ICPC Foundation President Bill Poucher, Freedom Holding Corp. CEO Timur Turlov and the Kazakhstan Competitive Programming Federation President Bagdat Mussin.
Our event on June 4 will begin with a short presentation to share the latest news from ICPC, Silkroad Innovation Hub, and the Kazakhstan Competitive Programming Federation. The presentation will be followed by a networking event and BBQ dinner.
Please RSVP no later than May 28. It is the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new friends, and enjoy some great food. We hope to see you there!
