​Hacktoberfest is an annual month-long celebration of open-source software run by DigitalOcean. It encourages individuals of all skill levels to engage with open-source software during the month of October and is open to everyone in our global community.

Hack This Fall and Superteam bring you an in-person Hacktoberfest event where you can join the community to learn, explore and contribute towards Open Source!

​🍁 About Hack This Fall

​Hack This Fall began with a mindset of encouraging beginner hackers to build unique projects regardless of the tech or field; the only focus was to create something meaningful and enjoy building while also solving the shared struggles of our surroundings. 

The community encourages Inclusion and Diversity at its core and has various events and happenings around the same as well to keep hackers engaged in a meaningful way. All in all, we want hackers not just to participate but experience a hackathon in a true sense.

​👾 About Solana x Superteam

​​Solana is an open-source project implementing a new, high-performance, permissionless blockchain that supports smart contracts, including non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and a variety of decentralized applications (dApps). Native to Solana’s blockchain is the SOL token, which provides network security through staking as well as a means of transferring value. Solana was created in 2017 by Anatoly Yakovenko alongside current Solana board member and Chief Operations Officer Raj Gokal. Yakovenko, now Solana Lab’s CEO, came from a background in system design and wanted to apply his knowledge to a new blockchain paradigm that enabled faster processing speeds.

Superteam helps the most promising projects in the Solana ecosystem in the ascending world (India, South East Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa) launch and grow.
