​Hacktoberfest is an annual month-long celebration of open-source software run by DigitalOcean. It encourages individuals of all skill levels to engage with open-source software during the month of October and is open to everyone in our global community.

Hack This Fall brings to you an all-virtual Hacktoberfest event where you can join the community to learn, explore, and contribute towards Open Source right from your home!

​🍁 About Hack This Fall

​Hack This Fall began with a mindset of encouraging beginner hackers to build unique projects regardless of the tech or field; the only focus was to create something meaningful and enjoy building while also solving the shared struggles of our surroundings. 

The community encourages Inclusion and Diversity at its core and has various events and happenings around the same as well to keep hackers engaged in a meaningful way. All in all, we want hackers not just to participate but to experience a hackathon in a true sense.
